It is very easy to set up and use the product. I used it for few weeks and it does a great job with alerting you when your posture is not correct. However, the inconvenience is that when you rotate your head to grab your phone or or pick up your coffee mug, it vibrates!

Like many, my posture is less than ideal. This is not good for the present but worse for the future. That is why I was interested in trying out hipee’s Smart Posture Trainer. The way it works is there is a band that rests around your neck, and a flat piece that goes under your shirt (ideally) sitting between your shoulders. It reminds me of some of the wireless headphones I own. Once you download the app and sync your trainer, you can set your posture. When it detects you bending too far forward (you set the reminder angle to trigger the device), you get a vibration to tell you to straighten up. You can also set the delay so that you need to be in the bad posture for several seconds before getting a reminder.The app can provide you an analysis of how well you are doing in maintaining an erect posture. It also has a series of exercises that if done over time will also help you maintain a good posture.The hipee Trainer is comfortable for me to wear. The silicon feels fine against my skin and after a few minutes, I don’t notice it. Because I usually am wearing button down dress shirts, it is easily fits underneath my collar. If wearing a turtleneck, it would need to sit outside the shirt.Fortunately the app has a number of different settings that let you check the storage on the device as well as the battery charge status. This way you don’t need to guess when to charge it.Ideally after using this trainer over time, your muscles will automatically put you in the right posture.
